Man points gun at woman in apartment building near 21st, Woodlawn

Police are looking for a man who pointed a gun at a woman as she was walking up the stairs to her northeast Wichita apartment Saturday night.

The 31-year-old woman reported the incident at 7:45 p.m. at Olde English Manor apartments at 2323 N. Woodlawn, Sgt. Ed Brower said.

“Nothing was said, but the handgun was pointed at her,” Brower said.

The incident occurred on a stairway inside an apartment building. No shots were fired and the suspect did not take anything from the woman before leaving, he said.
