Pratt man sentenced to consecutive life terms in prison for killing pregnant woman

A Pratt man was sentenced Monday to consecutive life terms in prison for the premeditated murders of a woman and her fetus last year, authorities said.

Bryant Alan Seba, 22, was sentenced by Pratt County District Judge Francis Meisenheimer to two consecutive life sentences plus an additional 272 months for attempted premeditated murder to run concurrently, Attorney General Derek Schmidt said in a statement.

Seba was found guilty of the charges by a Pratt County jury in October. Alexandria Duran, 22, was killed outside her house late on the night of July 24, 2013, after one of multiple bullets fired by Seba struck her in the head, according to testimony. A deputy coroner determined she was between 13 and 15 weeks pregnant.

Seba was also found guilty of one count of attempted first-degree premeditated murder of Brandon Wright. He will not be eligible for parole for at least 50 years.
