Police: Angry man cuts girlfriend’s tires with hand saw
He was upset that his girlfriend wouldn’t let him in early Saturday morning, so a 39-year-old man chose an unusual way to send a message.
He retrieved a hand saw from his pickup and cut two tires on the woman’s car in the 400 block of North Pennsylvania, Wichita police Sgt. Brian Sigman said. That’s southwest of Central and Hydraulic.
The 27-year-old woman called 911 and police are now looking for him, Sigman said. The man showed up at her house at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, demanding to be let inside.
“He was high on drugs, so she refused to let him in,” Sigman said.
That’s when he grabbed the saw from the back of his pickup and went to work. The woman was not injured in the incident, Sigman said.
