Derby police investigate spate of car burglaries
Three people have been arrested following reports Monday of several cars broken into in Derby this past weekend.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, Derby police were called to the 1500 block of Tanglewood Road where they found a car broken into. Police responded to several other break-ins across Derby through the night and early Monday morning, according to news release from Kristy Bansemer, public information officer in Derby.
The break-ins happened in an area bounded by Tanglewood Road south to Deer Trail, from Brook Forest east to Oak Forest and the Greens Apartments at 1500 E. Tall Tree Road.
People in that area who may have had their car broken into can contact the Derby Police Department at 316-788-1557.
