Man sought after girlfriend is choked
A 29-year-old man is being sought after choking his live-in girlfriend Friday night, police said Saturday.
The 28-year-old woman told police that her boyfriend was upset when she came home to the 900 block of South Mission at 11:30 p.m. Friday after being at a bar and socializing with other men, police Sgt. Brian Sigman said. The man choked the woman until she lost consciousness, and he also punched her in the midsection, Sigman said. The man then took the woman’s cellphone and left, the sergeant said.
The woman was taken to a hospital and was later released, Sigman said. Police know who the man is and are seeking him, he said.
