Wichita man pleads guilty to felony after threatening to kill ICE agents
A Wichita man pleaded guilty to one felony count after he made threats to kill ICE agents, according to a Department of Justice news release.
Joaquin Hernandez, 24, of Wichita pleaded guilty to one count of interstate communications with a threat to injure after he admitted to making a threat to shoot ICE agents “point blank” if he saw them in Wichita, according to the news release.
Hernandez made the threat through a social media video that he posted in January, according to the authorities. The Wichita Police Department and the FBI assisted in the investigation.
Hernandez will be sentenced at a later time.
