A Wichita man who was accused of sending and receiving child sex abuse material via a popular messaging app has pleaded guilty in federal court.

25-year-old Zachery Leslie faces between five and 20 years in prison for distributing child pornography, which he’s alleged to have done in July 2024, according to his guilty plea petition.

Under the username “mr.minor09” on KIK, Leslie distributed nine files of child sex abuse materials, according to his plea agreement. Both the KIK username and the affiliated email account were found to belong to Leslie, who was indicted in October 2025.

On Monday, Leslie filed a petition to enter a guilty plea. Along with a prison sentence, he could be ordered to pay a fine of up to $250,000.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 14, according the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas.
