911 dispatch supervisor arrested on suspicion of child sex crimes

A 911 dispatch supervisor for Sedgwick County has been arrested on suspicion of child sex crimes and placed on paid leave pending an investigation.

The 36-year-old dispatch supervisor was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on Friday night on suspicion of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, booking records show. The Wichita Eagle does not name people who have been arrested unless they are charged.

The arrest was not work related, said Sedgwick County Strategic Communications Director Nicole Gibbs in an email to The Eagle, and the dispatcher has been placed on paid leave pending the investigation’s outcome.
