NE Kansas man arrested in connection with Tesla vandalism in Wichita
A 30-year-old northeast Kansas man has been arrested in connection with the vandalism of a Tesla Model X in northwest Wichita last week, according to a release from the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office..
On Thursday, the Wichita Police Department presenting the findings of its investigation to the DA’s Office, and on Friday Johnathan F. Erhart was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Detention Center on a charge of criminal damage to property.
Criminal damage to property is a severity level 9 felony, according to a news release from the DA’s Office. It can carry a sentence of five to 17 months.
