Man hospitalized after stabbing breaks pelvic bone
A 37-year-old man was hospitalized with a stab wound and a broken pelvic bone after an argument with his girlfriend, police said.
Police were called to a house in the 2400 block of North Rosenthal at about 11:50 p.m. Friday, Sgt. Brian Sigman said. That’s northeast of 21st and Arkansas.
The victim reported that his 24-year-old girlfriend stabbed him in the buttocks during the argument, Sigman said. He was stabbed with such force that it broke his pelvic bone.
“That’s a pretty good amount of force to be able to break a pelvic bone,” Sigman said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and the woman was booked into jail on suspicion of aggravated battery.
