Three teenage boys were critically injured when they were shot in a suspected drive-by while walking Friday night in north Wichita, police said.

The Wichita boys, ages 16, 15 and 14, are hospitalized in stable condition and expected to survive after they “suffered gunshot wounds,” Wichita police spokesperson Andrew Ford said Saturday morning.

Police were still investigating and looking for suspects.

The shooting was reported at 7:12 p.m. at 12th and Holyoke.

Two of the teens were there when first responders arrived. EMS took them to the hospital. The third teen was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
