Police do not suspect foul play in the death of a 44-year-old Wichita man whose body was found Monday night in an alley.

Someone called 911 around 9:40 p.m. to check on a person in the 1600 block of South Broadway, which is near Harry. The man was found dead in an alley. The body didn’t have any obvious trauma.

Police need to notify the man’s family before releasing his name, Capt. Aaron Moses said Tuesday morning.

“At this time, we do not believe this death to be the result of criminal behavior,” he said, adding that a coroner will determine the cause of death.
