Authorities say a person has died after a traffic crash Monday afternoon in southeast Wichita.

The collision was reported at 12:49 p.m. in the area of Hydraulic and Wassall, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. Two vehicles were involved.

One person was triaged “code blue” after the crash, meaning they were unresponsive, according to the dispatcher.

The person later died “from what we know right now,” Wichita police spokesman Andrew Ford said by email.

“We currently do not have any other information at this time,” Ford said.

Wassall is south of Pawnee.
