Sheriff’s investigators are still seeking information to identify three people in a recent shooting that killed a 23-year-old man in the Oaklawn neighborhood, an official said Wednesday.

The three were seen leaving in a dark-colored SUV.

Sedgwick County sheriff’s Lt. Lin Dehning asked anyone with information about the shooting of Welly Syakhasone to call Crime Stoppers, 316-267-2111, or sheriff’s investigators, 316-660-5300.

Capt. Greg Pollock said at a briefing a week ago that investigators are seeking a dark-colored SUV, thought to have been used by the shooters, that left the area between 6:15 and 6:25 a.m. on July 14. The shooting was reported at 6:18 a.m. in the 4600 block of South Brookhaven, near K-15 and 47th South.

Syakhasone was shot at his residence while three relatives were also at the home.
