Armed men rob Adult Superstore

Two armed men with their faces covered robbed the Adult Superstore on South Broadway late Monday night, police said.

The men came into the store, 5858 S. Broadway, shortly after 10 p.m. and pointed guns at the 61-year-old clerk and a customer, Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza said. The suspects assaulted the customer, took cash and left the store.

The customer left the store before officers arrived, Espinoza said, so police don’t know how seriously he was hurt or if he was robbed as well. Surveillance cameras captured the incident.

The first suspect is a black man who is about 5-feet-9 between 25 and 30 years of age. He has a slender build and wore blue pants, a blue shirt and white-and-blue tennis shoes. He wrapped his head in white cloth and wore gloves.

The second suspect is a black man about 5-feet-7 and is between 25 and 30. He wore the same clothing and face covering as the first suspect, Espinoza said.
