Police: Lack of cooperation hindering shooting investigation
Police aren’t getting much cooperation as they investigate a bar shooting that occurred early Monday morning.
Witnesses told police two men were chasing after each other in the parking lot of Teezerz Playhouse, firing shots, Lt. James Espinoza said. The nightclub is at 911 E. Morris, near Waterman and Washington.
The shooting was reported at about 1:35 a.m., Espinoza said. A short time later, a 35-year-old man showed up at Wesley Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg.
He has not been cooperative with police, Espinoza said.
Witnesses said the second shooter is an unknown man about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He has long hair and several tattoos.
