Three arrested following drive-by shooting

Two men and one teenage boy were arrested shortly after a drive-by shooting on Wednesday night, police said.

The shooting was reported shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of North Spruce, Lt. Joe Schroeder said. That’s near 17th and Grove.

Several shots were fired into a house where 10 people were inside. Eight of the 10 were children, Schroeder said. Two women, ages 24 and 25, were also in the house.

No injuries were reported. The three suspects, ages 17, 22 and 23, were found in the area and arrested after they were questioned, Schroeder said.

There’s no indication that the incident was related to gang activity, he said.
