Police responding to domestic dispute find man dead

Wichita police responded to a report of a domestic dispute Tuesday morning and found a man dead.

Police were sent out to the 2300 block of West Graber, just east of Meridian, shortly before 8:30 a.m., according to a Sedgwick County 911 dispatcher.

A police SWAT team was called in after a family member left the home and called 911.

The family member, a woman, received minor injuries in the morning argument, according to Lt. Dennis Wilson of the Wichita Police Department.

Shortly before noon, Wilson said, officers gained entry to the residence and discovered a 47-year-old man had hanged himself in the garage.
