Wichita police respond to shooting in west Wichita where one person is unresponsive

A Sedgwick County Emergency Communications supervisor said one person was not breathing after a shooting in west Wichita Tuesday evening.

The supervisor said the shooting call came in around 5:06 p.m. in the 5700 block of west Kellogg. Wichita police are currently at the site of the shooting.

It is unknown if any other injuries occurred during the shooting or if police have a suspect in custody, the supervisor added.
