Arrest made in connection with several June robberies

A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a string of recent robberies, police said Thursday.

Delbert Jelks was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail shortly before 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated robbery, records show. He is being held on $75,000 bond.

Police say Jelks has been linked to several robberies between June 16 and June 26, according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page.
