Woman robbed in apartment stairwell

Two men cornered and robbed a 19-year-old woman of cash in an apartment building stairwell at gunpoint on Thursday.

Police arrested two men in their 50s nearby not long after.

The robbery occurred at about 10:55 p.m. in the 2600 block of North Grove, said Wichita police Lt. Joe Schroeder.

Two men, ages 54 and 55, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, aggravated kidnapping and other charges, Schroeder said.

The victim was not injured, he said.
