Wichita police officers arrested a 27-year-old man Thursday in connection with a homicide at a house at 23rd and Green streets on June 25, Capt. Doug Nolte announced on Twitter.

The man has been booked into jail on a charge of first-degree murder. Nolte said the case is expected to be presented to the District Attorney’s Office early next week.

Nolte said he did not have any other information to release at this time, saying “the details will come later, once I get them.”

Police have said Ciera Ray, 27, was found by her boyfriend at the house when he returned from an out-of-town business trip. Police said Ray died from “multiple injuries” but did not specify how she died.
