Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help on damage, theft of AC equipment
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying two people who might be involved in damage to air-conditioning equipment in the 9200 block of East 31st Street South.
Someone damaged AC units at a church shortly after midnight on the early morning of Sept. 30. Security system photos show two people around the units, the Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
Detectives think the incident is connected to the theft of $6,000 worth of AC units from a business on the evening of Sept. 21, the office said.
Anyone with information that could help is asked to call sheriff’s investigators at 660-5300 or Crime Stoppers, 267-2111.
