Man arrested in spray-painting vandalism on S. Broadway

Wichita police arrested an 18-year-old suspected of vandalizing seven South Broadway businesses early Tuesday.

Officers who were dispatched to a suspicious-person call about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday arrested a man suspected of spray-painting on the sides of businesses from the 1900 block to 2100 block of South Broadway, police Lt. Randy Reynolds said. The 18-year-old had spray paint in his possession and spray paint on his clothing, Reynolds said.

The damage was estimated at $2,000.
