Two injured from shots fired after altercation between occupants of two cars on Kellogg
Two people late on Friday were shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an altercation between the occupants of two cars traveling on Kellogg.
At about 10:55 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at Kellogg and Washington, police spokesman Charley Davidson said on Saturday. They found a 25-year-old male and a 26-year-old female who both had been shot.
The victims told police they were traveling east on Kellogg between Seneca and Washington in their black SUV when another car — an older model white four-door vehicle with multiple people inside — drove up behind them.
“A disturbance occurred between the occupants of the two vehicles when shots were fired from the white vehicle, striking the victims,” Davidson said in a news release.
Police are still investigating the case and ask anyone with information to call detectives at 316-268-4407, the “See Something Say Something” hotline at 316-519-2282, or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
