Man robbed while delivering money to Wells Fargo on East Central
Authorities are investigating the robbery of a man delivering money to a bank on East Central Monday afternoon.
The crime was reported shortly after 2 p.m. outside the Wells Fargo branch at 6321 E. Central, Lt. James Espinoza said. That’s near Central and Woodlawn.
Because the crime did not occur inside the bank, it is not considered a bank robbery, Espinoza said. He would not say how much money was taken.
No description of the suspect has been released.
