Police: Burglar enters west Wichita home through unlocked door

A burglar entered through an unlocked door overnight in west Wichita and stole cash and electronic games, police said Sunday.

A man and woman, both 18, woke up Sunday morning to find the items missing from their residence in the 300 block of South Tyler, near Maple, police Sgt. John Ryan said. They reported the items stolen, including about $300 in cash, to police at 9:30 a.m.

They also realized their door was left unlocked, Ryan said.
