Pizza Hut deliveryman robbed near Hydraulic, I-135
A Pizza Hut deliveryman was robbed late Monday night, police said.
The 22-year-old man was robbed at about 11:30 p.m. Monday as he was walking in the 1400 block of East 31st South, Lt. James Espinoza said. That’s northwest of I-135 and Hydraulic.
The victim told police he was attempting to deliver a pizza in that block when two men approached him. One pointed a gun at him and demanded the pizza and his money, Espinoza said.
The armed suspect then fired a shot, but the victim escaped injury. Officers interviewed residents of the neighborhood to see if anyone heard or saw anything related to the incident, Espinoza said.
