Death of 78-year-old Eureka man is suspicious; KBI seeking tips to solve case
Authorities say the death of a 78-year-old Greenwood County man is suspicious and are asking the public for tips to help solve the case.
Deputies with the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office found Danny Shue’s body inside of his Eureka home during a welfare check around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was discovered during a search of the address, 1607 Quincy St., and pronounced dead on site, according to a news release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
The KBI is assisting local authorities with the death investigation. Anyone with information about Shue’s death is asked to call the KBI at 1-800-KSCRIME (572-7463) or submit a tip online at www.kbi.ks.gov/sar.
The KBI did not say how Shue died, nor did it release any other details about the case.
