Wichita police are looking for a man who threatened two Dollar General Store employees with a gun and stole cash from the register Thursday night.

The robbery took place in the 1600 block of East Central at about 8:40 p.m. The man is described as 30 to 35 years old, black, about 6 feet tall and 200 to 220 pounds. He had braided hair pulled into a ponytail and was dressed in a blue shirt and blue jeans while he was in the store.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Wichita police investigations at 316-268-4407, the Crime Stoppers hotline at 316-267-2111 or the See Something, Say Something hotline at 316-519-2282.

Police say the man went into the store, threatened the employees with a gun and demanded money from the register. The employees, 31 and 38, gave the man cash and he left the store. He got into a white sedan that was last seen driving east on Central. The employees weren’t hurt.
