Man arrested in connection with shooting at four people during domestic call in April
A 44-year-old Wichita man was arrested Friday in connection to an April shooting where four people were shot at and one hit in southeast Wichita, police records show.
Christopher Wayne Lollis II was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault. He was arrested in the 1300 block of North Lorraine, near 13th and Hillside.
Police records show the arrest was connected to a shooting reported at 3:05 p.m. April 18 that occurred in the 5100 block of East Harry, near Oliver. Officer Kevin Wheeler said it was a domestic violence incident where a 24-year-old woman reported Lollis drove to an apartment complex parking lot, exited a truck and began firing in her direction.
The woman got into a vehicle with others and left.
A 27-year-old man in the vehicle was hit during the shooting, Wheeler said. The man was later located in Haysville with non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital, treated and released.
