Speed and alcohol suspected in deadly rollover in southeast Wichita
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says speed and alcohol were possible factors in a fatal rollover crash where both people involved were apparently ejected from the vehicle Wednesday night.
Joseph Cenicola, 55, was found near the 1974 GMC pickup and pronounced dead at the scene. James Cenicola, 57, was found roughly 100 feet away and was taken to the Wesley Medical Center with severe injuries. Deputies were called about the wreck at around 8:15 p.m. near Pawnee and Woodlawn.
