Wichita police ask for public’s help in pasta restaurant robbery
Police are asking for the public’s help after an armed robbery Wednesday at a southeast Wichita restaurant.
At around 5:55 p.m., police were called to a robbery at Pasta Express in the 4100 block of East Harry, near Oliver. A man had entered the business, brandished a gun and demanded money.
“Money was taken by the suspect who then fled the store on foot. There were no injuries,” officer Charley Davidson said in a news release. “The suspect was described as an unknown black male wearing a surgical mask, red and black tennis shoes, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and heavy winter gloves.”
