Gambling raid leads to two arrests near downtown Wichita, police say

Two Wichita men were arrested after police served a search warrant for gambling machines Friday at a business near downtown, Officer Kevin Wheeler said Saturday.

Timothy Gerald Drumgould, 41, and Derryc Joel Werner, 34, were both arrested on suspicion of felony commercial gambling. Werner was also arrested in separate cases on suspicion of distributing opiates, opium, narcotics or stimulants and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wheeler said the search warrant was done at Platinum Smoke Shop in the 800 block of West Maple, near Maple and Seneca.
