After $50K vandalism at East Kellogg construction site, Crime Stoppers offers $10K reward

Law enforcement officers are asking for anonymous tips from the public to help solve a vandalism at an East Kellogg construction site.

Crime Stoppers coordinator and Wichita police Officer Kevin Wheeler said in a news release that construction equipment was damaged at a construction site on East Kellogg near K-96. An estimated $50,000 in damage was done to Wildcat Construction’s equipment, which included a bulldozer, excavator and an off-road vehicle.

An anonymous donor and Crime Stoppers are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the crime.

The case is being investigated by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
