Parolee arrested in connection to armed robbery of Little Caesars

A 41-year-old Wichita parolee was arrested Thursday in connection to a robbery at a Little Caesars earlier in the week, records show.

Joshua Daniel Freimark was arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery at his home in the 3800 block of East Ross Parkway, near Hillside and Pawnee. Inside the home, police found two handguns, two ballistic vests, two rifles, a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition, officer Charley Davidson said in a news release.

Freimark has convictions in Sedgwick County for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, criminal possession of a firearm, driving with a suspended license and a drug charge. Freimark was released from prison in June 2019, Kansas Department of Corrections records show.

Original Tuesday:

A 37-year-old Little Caesars employee was shoved to the ground and robbed of a money bag at gunpoint near Pawnee and Seneca, police said.

Police were called a little after 10 a.m. on Monday to the 2500 block of South Seneca. Police said the woman was leaving the building when a man got out of a white sedan and approached her.

“The suspect pushed her to the ground, pointed a gun at her and took the bank money bag she was holding,” officer Charley Davidson said in a news release.

The bag had $2,716 inside, a police report shows.

“The suspect then ran and jumped over a fence and was last seen running east of the business into a residential area,” the news release said.

The driver of the car also left. The employee had minor injuries.

The robber was described as a 5-foot, 7-inch white man in his 40s with a large build. He was wearing a camouflage vest and camouflage bandanna and a hat with an orange bill.
