19-year-old arrested in Wichita sexual assault case
A 19-year-old Wichita man was arrested after he sexually assaulted and robbed an ex-girlfriend then led police on a chase, the Wichita Police Department said.
Adonis Keshawn Issiah Dailey was arrested Monday on suspicion of aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated domestic battery, robbery, possession of marijuana, interference, and traffic-related charges. Police were called at around noon Monday to a domestic violence call near K-96 and Rock.
Dailey stole the victim’s cell phone before leaving the home, officer Charley Davidson said. Still, the victim was able to call police.
Officers later spotted the black Chevrolet Impala Dailey was driving, Davidson said. Dailey led police on a pursuit before stopping in the 1400 block of South Main and taking off on foot, Davidson said.
Dailey was arrested nearby.
