Two men stabbed in backyard fight near Murdock and Mosley, Wichita police say

Two men were taken to the hospital in serious condition Friday night after a fight in the backyard of a home near Murdock and Mosley, Wichita police said.

Police were called at around 5:25 p.m. to a home in the 900 block of North Indiana. Wichita police Sgt. James Bray said two middle-aged men had stab wounds on their chest and arms. He said one man was on the ground when officers arrived.

“Both are expected to survive,” Bray said.

At around 6:10 p.m., Bray said they were still sorting out if the two men stabbed each other. He said neither men live at the home where they were found, which is across the street from the Dunbar Learning Center, but both men “were known to the residence.”
