Man stabbed near Lincoln and Oliver

A man was stabbed during an argument and taken to a local hospital for treatment early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly before 1:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Terrace, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatch supervisor said. That’s northwest of Lincoln and Oliver in southeast Wichita.

The 39-year-old victim was taken to Wesley Medical Center with a stab wound to his upper right chest, Lt. James Espinoza said. A 22-year-old man has been identified as a possible suspect in the case, but no arrests have been made.

The incident remains under investigation.
