Wichita police arrested two people Monday in connection to a homicide after they found a missing man dead inside his RV, police say.

At 3:20 p.m. Monday, Wichita police responded to an auto-theft-in-progress call near Englewood Street and MacArthur just north of Oaklawn. An investigation led police to a home in the 1300 block of South Greenwood. That’s about 2 1/2 miles northwest of the original call.

At that home, Wichita police found a truck and an RV that matched the description of what had been reported stolen.

Inside the RV, police found the body of 50-year-old William Callison. He was reported missing on Saturday about 4 or 5 miles away from where he was found, Wichita police Lt. Jeff Gilmore said.

Callison’s body had multiple stab wounds, Gilmore said. He did not say how long Callison had been dead.

Royce Thomas, 25, and Micaela Spencer, 24, were arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of stolen property. Spencer also had an outstanding warrant, Gilmore said.
