One person dead after crashing into tree in south Wichita, emergency crews say
Update, Oct. 26
Police say a Wichita man died when he crashed into a tree on Wednesday night.
Phillip Luekenga, 57, was driving a silver 2000 Lincoln Towncar when he crashed into a tree next to a paved road leading to the Southlake Village Apartments at 4141 S. Seneca, Officer Charley Davidson said in a release on Friday. Police think a medical issue contributed to the crash.
