Woman leaving Dillons at 21st and Maize tells police man pointed gun at her
Police arrested an 18-year-old man and five youths after a woman told officers she’d had a gun pointed at her outside the Dillons store at 21st and Maize Road.
The woman, 30, said she left the store, at 10222 W. 21st St., just before midnight Sunday when she saw a man put on a mask and point a gun at her. She got in her vehicle, left the parking lot and called 911.
Officers who stopped a car at 13th and Maize a short time later arrested the 18-year-old on charges of aggravated assault. Three air pistols were found in the car, said police spokesman Lt. James Espinoza.
Five youths in the car were arrested on charges of violating curfew.
