Wichitan sentenced to more than 8 years for meth deal
A Wichita man was sentenced Monday to more than eight years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine to an undercover police officer, U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom said in a news release.
Wyatt Leedy, 36, drew a 100-month sentence after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute meth. He admitted that he arranged for an undercover Wichita officer to buy a pound of meth for $20,000 from co-defendant Patrick C. Hains on Jan. 14 at the Pelican Point Apartments, 2150 N. Meridian.
Hains sold the meth to the officer and was previously sentenced to more than 10 years in prison. A third co-defendant, Jose Ramon Montelongo-Castrejohn, has been sentenced to two years probation.
