Police in Kansas are looking for two men who allegedly hit a sleeping man with a bar Sunday morning.
A police officer in Salina found the victim's clothes in the road on Highland Avenue while on patrol, Capt. Paul Forrester told the Salina Journal. The officer then stopped two people walking in the area.
One of the men said he and his brother had taken a dog to a house on Kirwin Avenue to scare someone at the request of their sister, who wanted a man to leave her house. The clothes belonged to that man, they told the officer.
In the house at the corner of Highland and Kirwin, a 22-year-old Minneapolis man was beaten by two men with a bar while he was sleeping, the Salina Post reported. He received a concussion, a broken left cheek bone and a cut on the leg.
After the man woke up to the attack at around 11 a.m., he then showed up at Salina Regional Health Center where he was treated for his injuries, the Journal reported.
