Sedgwick County deputies arrest three during DUI checkpoint
A weekend sobriety checkpoint conducted by authorities resulted in two arrests for DUI and one for consuming marijuana while driving through the check lane, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
Deputies stopped 346 vehicles at 5555 W. Zoo Boulevard over a three-hour period between 11 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday, a news release said.
Two minors were found to have alcohol and three open containers of alcohol were seized.
