Police find man with head wound at South Woodlawn club

Wichita police are investigating an aggravated battery incident that happened in the 1600 block of South Woodlawn.

Police were called to the 300 Club at 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning after someone reported a disturbance at 1621 S. Woodlawn, near Harry.

Inside the club, officers found a 31-year-old man bleeding from the head, according to Sgt. Ed Brower, spokesman for the Wichita Police Department. The man was taken to Wesley Medical Center in stable but critical condition.
