They were leaving a west Wichita Dillons when a man pointed a gun at them, police say

A man in a stolen vehicle pointed a gun at two people as they were leaving a west Wichita Dillons on Sunday evening, police said.

Police were called to the Dillons at 13th and Tyler at around 6:20 p.m., Officer Charley Davidson said. A 20-year-old woman and 19-year-old man told police they had left the store and were driving in the parking lot when someone yelled at them, starting a "verbal disturbance."

They did not know the man, who was in a vehicle and pointed a gun at them, Davidson said.

Officers found the man in a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier this year, found a handgun and arrested him, Davidson said.

Booking reports show Tyler Addison Cline, 24, of Wichita, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and auto theft in connection to the case.
