Statue stolen from in front of apartment
Police are looking into the theft of a copper statue from outside a Wichita apartment earlier this week.
The 4-foot statue of an American Indian warrior was taken sometime between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:45 a.m. Monday in the 1300 block of North West Street, Lt. James Espinoza said. The statue is worth an estimated $150.
The statue shows the warrior reaching back for an arrow, according to a police report on the case.
