Armed robber ties up employee at Verizon Wireless retailer
A man with a gun used tape to tie up an employee at a Verizon Wireless retailer at Kellogg and Greenwich before robbing the store Tuesday evening, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said.
Shortly after 8:15 p.m., the dispatcher said, calls from an employee and a customer were received, saying that the store had been robbed. The dispatcher could not verify whether the customer was inside the store when he or she called.
No injuries were reported. The dispatcher did not have an estimate of losses as of 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The store, Z Wireless, is an authorized Verizon Wireless retailer, according to its website.
