Cash taken in Wichita Subway robbery
A Wichita Subway restaurant was robbed Sunday morning by a person with a gun, police said.
A person armed with a handgun walked into the Subway at Broadway and Pawnee at around 11 a.m. and demanded cash, Officer Charley Davidson said. A 23-year-old woman working at the restaurant turned over cash to the person, who drove away in an older gold or tan Ford Explorer.
No injuries were reported. It is unknown if any customers were in the store at the time.
Police ask anyone with information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
